Instructions

Remove the backing. Apply the adhesive side of the GO disc to the adhesive side of the tape*. Then tape the YouMatrix GO Shoes to the underside of your insole, facing up, aligning the center of the YouMatrix GO Shoes disc with the Kidney 1 Acupuncture Point on the bottom of your foot, as illustrated above.

Disclaimer: sweating, water, and debris in shoes can damage the GO. If the dyes rub/ peel off or crack your GO is no longer effective.

Tips

*Any tape works, but make sure it really sticks. Heavy duty clear packing tape usually does the job & allows you to see if the GO moves or not.

If you cannot remove the insole of your shoes or you wear sandals you can remove the backing of the GO discs and adhere them on top of the insole at the Kidney 1 acupuncture point as illustrated above. Make sure to tape over the GO disc to protect it from wear and tear. Also note you will not be able to transfer this set of GO to other footwear.

Yes. In order to do so you must place the GO discs at the Kidney 1 acupuncture point on a pair of insoles or orthotics that you can transfer between shoes. You can consult the directions as to how to install them properly.
The piezoelectric effect is the ability of certain materials to generate an electric charge in response to applied mechanical stress. In the case of the GO discs in your shoes, you are applying a mechanical stress on the microcrystalline structure in the discs by stepping on them.
Yes, but most likely you will not be able to transfer them to other shoes or sandals. You want to make sure that you protect the GO discs from coming into direct contact with your feet, dirt, sand, and other abrasive or oily substances to prevent damage to the GO. We suggest that you use a strong tape directly over the entire surface of the GO discs when secured in place on your sandals to prevent damage.
Prevent your GO discs from coming into direct contact with oil, dirt, sand, or abrasive materials. Make sure to have a barrier between your foot and the GO discs. By following the installation directions of placing the GO discs on the underside of an insole or orthotic you can prevent direct contact. If this is not possible, make sure to cover the entire surface of the GO disc with a non-abrasive tape, like a heavy duty, transparent packing tape.
