The following is a Google translate of the actual test done by the MicrotoxO Lab in France:
MicrotoxO test data on the influence of the device “Quantys drink” on a pathogenic bacterial strain of E. Coli indicate a net inhibitory effect of growth of -57% compared to the control water.
Data on Lactobacillus plantarum indicate an inhibitory effect significant growth of – 14% compared to the control water.
Assessment and Interpretation
The data analysis shows that the “Quantys drink” device possesses a net inhibiting power on the growth of a strain of microbiotic bacteria “pathogenic”; Escherichia Coli and a significant inhibitory effect on Lactobacillus plantarum (bacterium biogenic i.e. useful) compared to a control water (sterilized city water).
In view of these findings, it appears that a drinking water modified by the “Quantys drink” device can be consumed regularly because it participates in the balance of the gut microbiota by affecting moderately useful flora, called biogenic.
Limits of Validity of the MicrotoxO test
MicrotoxO Lab in Marignier, France took a sample of tap water and sterilized, filtered, and demineralized it, then introduced a diluted solution containing a pathogenic bacteria, E. Coli, and a biogenic (beneficial) gut bacteria, Lactobacillus Plantarum. This sample became the “Reference Water”. The Reference Water was then split into two containers. One container of Reference water was sterilized using standard measures taken by the city. This sample became known as the “Control Water”. The other container of Reference water was set upon the Quantys Drink coaster and was labeled the “Quantys Drink Water”. After 48 hours the Control Water and Quantys Drink Water were re-tested to determine their bacteria load. The Control Water had reduced its E. Coli load by 5% and L. Plantarum load by 7%. The Quantys Drink Water had a 57% reduction of the pathogenic/ bad bacteria, E. Coli, and a 14% inhibitory effect of the biogenic/ good bacteria, L. Plantarum. This test was run in triplicate and the graph illustrates the average.
In conclusion, the scientists conducting the testing determined that drinking water that has been sat upon the Quantys Drink coaster has a statistically significant beneficial effect on balancing the gut flora and hence on regulating the body’s immune and digestive systems.
